Helping micro and small firms (MSE’s) in Latin America mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 crisis
Event Overview
This project aims at contributing to the survival and growth of micro and small enterprises (MSEs) by improving their operations and supply chain management decisions.
The motivation for Spring 2021 is to continue helping micro and small firms (MSE’s) in Latin America mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 crisis in collaboration with 12 of the top universities in Latin America.
To do so, we propose a project focused on:
- Improving cash availability in MSEs via adequate inventory management policies through the Cash Conversion Cycle.
- Estimating the indirect costs related to products and services offered by MSEs.
- Measuring the level of adoption of e-commerce in MSEs and the impact on their performance.
During this event, selected students from our partner universities will present their applied research projects, findings, and recommendations to the MSE’s.
